Facials play a crucial role in maintaining healthy and youthful skin, preventing premature aging, and enhancing your skin's texture and appearance. A monthly facial routine is recommended for optimal results. At LAP, our facial treatment is designed to provide a comprehensive and tailored experience to promote deep cleansing and leave your skin looking healthy and radiant.
The Facial at LAP
1. Skin Analysis:
Fill out a consultation form for a thorough skin analysis.
Identifying your skin type, conditions, and determining the most suitable products and treatments.
2. Double Cleanse:
Removal of makeup, debris, sweat, and oil with a thorough initial cleanse.
Double cleanse to ensure a pristine cleanse for subsequent treatments.
3. Exfoliation:
Exfoliation of the skin to eliminate dead skin cells and promote a youthful, glowing complexion.
Accelerate the skin cell turnover process affected by factors such as, dead skin build up, diet, hormones, stress, sun exposure, and age.
4. Steam:
Steaming the face for approximately 10 minutes to open pores and prepare for extractions.
A hot towel is substituted if steam is not suitable for the client.
5. Extractions:
Decongestion of pores by removing excess oil, impurities, blackheads, and whiteheads.
6. Lymphatic Drainage:
Relax as your esthetician performs a lymphatic drainage massage to stimulate circulation, release tension, and firm the skin.
7. Mask:
A mask is applied to eliminate impurities, unclog pores, and soothe the skin.
8. LED Light:
The use of LED light boosts collagen, reduces inflammation and redness, controls sebaceous gland activity, and combats bacteria.
9. Calming Spray:
Spraying a calming toner is helpful to relax the skin and reduce redness.
10. Eye Cream:
Eye cream is applied to prevent and diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
11. Vitamin C:
Vitamin C is used for its antioxidant benefits, promoting glowing skin, brightening, stimulating collagen production, and fighting free radicals.
12. Serum:
If necessary, a suitable serum is applied to control excessive oil production.
13. Moisturizer:
LAP Hydrates the skin with a moisturizer to improve elasticity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
14. SPF:
If the treatment coincides with the time of active UV rays, SPF will be applied; we skip this step for evening appointments.
After the facial, follow the esthetician's instructions, refrain from washing your face for at least 6 hours, avoid sun exposure and skip make up application for at least 24 hours after your treatment.
